Free Trial Class

Have you always wondered what Pilates is all about and if it is for you?

Here is your chance to try out Pilates with Tess.

Maybe you are looking for an online Pilates group class that will help you ease into your day with a solid physical connection, strong core and flexible spine and limbs. With this offer for a free trial class, you can hop on our online virtual class during any of the class times and see and feel for yourself. Just choose your class, sign up and I will forward you the link.

Teaching remotely has become my passion. I enjoy the format and am able to give small corrections during the class. If desired, we can have a private conversation outside of class to go over your questions and challenges.

Choosing Your Trial Class

In a beginner level class, we will warm up the spine and extremities slowly to transition to the abdominal and back exercises. Pilates Beginner exercises are interspersed with deep stretches for the torso and extremities. If you have never tried Pilates and want to see what it is all about, this is for you. But even you are a seasoned athlete, you might appreciate the conscious and slow connecting movements with impeccable placement and deep stretches to facilitate mobility.

In an intermediate level class, you will find all the familiar exercises that Joseph Pilates designed and more. I use modifications and transitional exercises to make the method accessible to everyone. If you are fit and have tried a class or two with another teacher, this class is for you.

I was in awe of Tess’s ability to command a room and work together with different fitness levels at the same time. In other words, she can make each class as if you were the only one she was focusing on, not matter how many people are in the class. Her voice is so compelling that even without music, you could follow her detailed direction and her beautiful tonal quality had its own rhythm to keep you going. Tess always brought new fresh ideas to class. She would listen intently to each participant and would always come the next week armed with something new and challenging. She was able to push me to do more and each class which built upon the next. For example, the stretches and poses I could barely do the first year, come naturally to me now. I always told her my favorite-shirt should say “Body by Tess!”
